Description: A black and white photograph of Mrs. John Campbell (Hannah Bicknell) (1798-1878).
Notes: Hannah Bicknell, daughter of Nathan Bicknell, was born in New York State in 1798. She and John Campbell were married in 1816 at Napanee, Upper Canada. They settled in Whitby Township in 1832 and became leading citizens of Brooklin, where John Campbell operated a mill and general store. Mrs. Campbell died in 1878 at Brooklin and is buried at an unmarked grave in Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin.
