Black and white negative of a photograph showing the almost completed bridge for the Canadian Northern Railway over Devil's Den. Construction workers are sitting on the bridge. Some of the crew are: Henry Lynde, Alfred Lynde, Tom Lynde, Bert Spencer, Ben Manning, Henry Bennett (boss), Wes Stevenson, and F.W. McBrien.
Notes
The Canadian Northern Railway was built through the 5th Concession of Whitby Township in 1910. A steel railway trestle was built across Devil's Den over the Lynde Creek. It was demolished about 1937.
