Description
Black and white negative of a photograph of Harry Hewis with the Hewis Brothers butcher cart. A horse is hooked up to the cart and there is a dog at the feet of Hewis. Hewis also appears to be eating something.
Notes
Henry James (Harry) Hewis (1894-1968) was a butcher in Whitby from 1904-1964. He worked with his brother and father. He often operated the butcher cart and later, truck.
