Notes
George Sonley and Ann Walker were married at Lincolnshire, England in 1827. They had five children and moved to Canada sometime before 1843. Their three known children were George (1828-1876), Henry (1835-1906), and Thomas (1843-1915).

Henry Hodgson Sonley (1835-1906) married Jane Rundle in 1862 at Brock Township. They had 12 children. Shortly after their marriage, Jane and Henry moved to Whitby Township where they settled on a farm at the north-west corner of Highway 12 and Concession 4.
