- Black and white negative of a photograph of the Hardy family on the occasion of Mrs. Mary Hardy's 70th birthday. The photograph was taken on Mayfield Farm at 780 Garden Street.
- Notes
- Thomas Hardy (1813-1890) was first married to a woman named Charlotte (1814-1866). The couple had one son, James (1860-1929). After Charlotte's death, Thomas married Mary Blackburn (1834-1911) by whom he had five children: Thomas Edgar (1867-1927), Alfred Henry (1869-1940), Ada Louise (1871-1944), Arthur Mark (1877-1953), Martha Ann (1887-1970).
