Black and white negative of a photograph showing some of the buildings on the west side of the Whitby harbour (previous location of the grain elevators). At left is a dance hall that was operated by John Watson. The fishing boat in the foreground was owned by the Stevens family.
Notes
The Stevens family operated a commercial fishing business at Port Whitby from 1917 until the early 1960s.
