- Black and white negative of a photograph showing an image of the Brunton Lumber yard. Stacks of lumber are piled to the left and right of the railway tracks.
- Notes
- The Brunton Lumber Company was built at Whitby Harbor in 1941. The company manufactured ammunition boxes for Defense Industries Limited in Ajax during the Second World War. The company was sold to General Mills and was destroyed by fire 0n 8 February 1951.
This photograph was printed in a a Chamber of Commerce brochure in 1947. It was framed by Graydon Goodfelllow for the Chamber of Commerce in 1949. - Date of Original
