The Board of Local Improvements reports it has secured contracts for property owners adjoining the stub ends of Willow, Cherry and Oak streets, to improve these streets with- out cost to the village, the same to be undertaken as soon as the weather permits. INFANT WELFARE AT CHICAGO COMMONS. The Winnetka Branch of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago has taken over the entire charge of the station at Chicago Commons. There are 21 of these stations now, located in the congested districts of this city, and ours, at Chicago Commons, is one of the largest.
