BUSINESS CLEANED UP IN COUNCIL Seven , Ordinances Read With Minor Matters Kept Trustees to Late Hour. : GATHER TUESDAY NIGHT. - A final meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held Wednesday even- ing to pick up the last fluttering ends of business and read seven ordinances. The meeting had been set for Tues- day evening but the political rally at the Woman's Club on that evening caused a postponement until Wednes- day. A bill was presented from John Mor- ton and Kathleen Murphy asking that the village defray a third of the ex- pense incurred by the laying of a sewer on Fig street from Railroad ave- nue to 179 feet south on Walden Road. Trustee Wolf moved the amount be paid and Trustee Davis seconded the motion. The bill was accepted. A communication was then read from Mr. Bradstreet asking the re- newal of a $1,000 bond held by Mrs. Preston which expired on March 13th. Trustee Wolf made a motion that the business manager see to the renewal of thé bond and Trustee Heller sec- onded the motion, which was ap- proved. Trustee Davis moved that the tri- angle belonging to the Sears estate, situated in Kenilworth, that has been north of the Winnetka line, should be passed to the jurisdiction of Kenil- worth, in return for which Winnetka avenue is to be paved. Trustee Wolf seconded the motion, which passed. These ordinances were read and ap- proved: Ordinance for the changing of the Winnetka-Kenilworth boundary line; ordinance. for the publication of the village code; ordinance covering the laying of a sanitary sewer in Woodland avenue and Essex road; or- dinance for laving a sewer system in Willow, Cherry and Ash streets at the extreme west limits of the village; . ordinance for placing a water pipe in Woodland avenue and Essex road; or- dinance for a sanitary sewer at the ex- treme west end of town around North, Vernon and Greenwood avenues: ordi- nance for a storm sewer in the south- east part of village.
