ia 6 WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, FRIDAY, MAY 23,1919 OFFICIAL OPENING AT BOB O'LINK, MAY 30 All-Day Tournament for Men to be big Feature of Bob O'Link Decora- tion Day Program Bob O'Link golf course in High- land Park will be the scene of much activity on Decoration Day, Friday, May 30, the occasion of the official opening of the golfing season at the popular north shore club. The day will be marked by an "All- Day Tournament" for men for which the qualifying round will be held on Saturday, May 24. There will also be a table d'hote luncheon, dinner at 7 o'clock .and dancing in the club- house in the evening. Reservations for the day are to be made not later than Tuesday. May 27, according to the plans of the Sports and Pastimes and Entertainment committees in charge of the events. There will be a Stag dinner at the clubhouse, Saturday, May 24, at 7:15 o'clock at the finish of the Qualify- ing Event to be held that day. "DOUG" AND MARY HOYBURN STARS ALL NEXT WEEK Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pick- ford are to have the Hoyburn theater all to themselves next week in their latest productions. Fairbanks will start the week with the popular "Knickerbocker . Buck- aroo." The film will have a three day run, May 26, 27 and 28 and promises to be one of the big hits of the sum- mer season at the Hoyburn. "Doug," who, with Miss Pickford and Charles Chaplin, has been doing some gov- ernment propaganda filming, will be welcomed back into his own charac- terizations by all his ardent film fol- lowers. "Little Mary" who appeared re- cently at the Hoyburn in "Captain Kidd, Jr., will be the attraction on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 29, 30 and 31, in "Daddy Long Legs," a picturization of Jean Webster's celebrated story and play of that title. The film is said to present Miss Pickford at her best in a role es- pecially suited to her artistry.
