Representative people from all parts of the village have volunteered their services to the Board of Edu- cation in its campaign for the erection by popular subscription of a new school on the West Elm Street site. 'While the committee was supposed at first to consist only of one hundred people, the desire to help in this pro- ject was so great that the committee has grown to nearly double the origi- nal number.Among the people on this committee are doctors, lawyers, min- isters, merchants, architects, business men--every type of citizen in the vil- lage. The membership in the commit- tee is not confined to any one locality, but includes representative citizens from the southeast part, from Hub- bard Woods and from the large central section.
