2 WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, MAY 29, 1920 ANNUAL EXHIBIT AT NEW TRIER JUNE 12 High Schcol Authorities Announce Annual Commencement Affair in- cluding Varied Events Announcement was made this week of the annual exhibit at the New Trier Township High school, to be held Saturday, June 12, at the high school beginning with folk dances and a may pole dance on the campus at 7:15 o'clock in the evening. The program will be of varied in- terest and includes demonstration of the work of every department in the school, from a regular dramatic sketch by the English department, to a fashion display by the students in Domestic Science. After 8 o'clock all buildings are to be thrown open for inspection. Students will be found at work in the manual training department shops, laboratories and gymnasium. An op- portunity will be afforded to meet the teachers of the school individu- ally in the direction of their work. The program as announced will be as follows: : May Pole Dance Out of doors--On front campus at 7.15 P. M. Folk Dances, May Pole Dances, with band. Aux Crepes Francaises--Mr. Glace's pupils. Indoors-- 7.45--Assembly Hall. Play "Never- the-less"Stuart Walker, by Eng- lish department. 8:15--Assembly Hall. Fashion Show-- Domestic Science Department. 8:30--In Mess Hall. The meeting was held in Room 700, 910 South Michigan avenue, Chicago, and one of the important subjects discussed was a plan for the development of a thoroughfare connecting Joliet with Wilmette.
