The entire coaching staff at Ohio was present at this game and they should have an exact idea of what the Suckers can do. Well Matched Squads Between the two teams there is little to choose. Both have become famous in the use of the forward pass and the Walquist to Carney combina- tion will be matched with one equally good, Workman to Stincomb. Wal- quist is more accurate than Work- man but the Buckeye wonder is un- equalled with the length of his passes, passing 45 and 50 yards with ease, Stinchcomb while not as heavy as Carney is faster and has a great reputation of snapping passes. The lines are about equal in weight and both are capable of putting up a wonderful defense. Captain Huff- man, the big Buckeye tackle, is one of the best forwards in the game and it was his terrific smashing through the opposing lines that has brought victories to the Scarlet and Gray. He won the Michigan game almost single handed, slashing through their line blocking Steketee's punt and fall- ing on the ball for an Ohio touch- down. The game will be a hard, vicious one, Ohio wishing to secure revenge for the trimming they received last year and Illinois backed by an en- ormous crowd, with the champion- ship at stake, will fight to the very end. GOLD PRODUCTION INCREASES DURING 10 YEARS IN CANADA Ottawa.--Gold to the value of $63,- 107.416 has been taken from the mines of northern Ontario in the past ten years, according to a government re- port. The increase in output in a decade has been remarkable. Tt was $35.539 in 1910 and approximately $10,000.000 in 1919. Production this year, it is expected, will be greater than last.
