Each group will have charge of one table and before the sale opens, a committee will judge the tables and a local honor will be awarded the winning group for the most attractive display. The proceeds are to be put into the general Camp Fire treasury. Come early and buy for your Easter dinner. : At this sale there will also be a table of unique and beautiful bird- houses, made of birch bark, and which have not been painted. It has been noted that often birds will not adopt painted birdhouses as their homes while there is any odor of paint, and many times the homes have been vacant a whole season. Birch bark homes have proven exceptionally at- tractive to all birds. These same bird houses will be on display in the window of Mr. Eck- hart's store throughout the coming week, and the Camp Fire girls will receive the commission on any sales made, and this money is to be turned into the Summer Camp fund. wef nen An event of interest to the young children of Winnetka is the Easter party to be given by Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Johansen, of Fairview avenue, on Saturday afternoon of this week, for their children, Billie, Stanley and Ralph, Jr. Fifty little folks will be their guests. Mr. McConnell, the noted cotillion leader of Chicago, has specially made appropriate favors for the children, including filled Easter baskets, aprons, hats, ties, whistles and Dolly Varden bags in wee sizes. The table decorations will be in the Easter colors, the centerpiece being a life-size chocolate Bunny. Each guest will receive a large chocolate bunny, tied with yellow rosette. Many games have been planned, including a novel balloon chase. Prizes will be awarded to thes=successful ones.
