2 WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1921 Arcanians Announce Great Open Meeting To Hear Supreme Vice Regent at Social Gathering at Com- munity House Monday evening, December 19, at 8:30 o'clock the Winnetka council No. 1131, Royal Arcanum, will hold a big open meeting in the Assembly room at Community House. This meeting is to be the biggest socal affair for the council this year and the program promises to be most attractive. It is the hope of Royal Arcanum leaders that every local member will make a special effort to do his part in the activities. The families and friends of Arcanum members, and others interested are especially invited to be present. The principal speaker of the even- ing is to be Richard E. Kroepf, Su- preme Vice Regent of the Royal Ar- canum, who will have as his subject, "The Royal Arcanum." Following this address the council and its guests will be entertained with motion pictures, loaned by the Sinclair Oil company, describing "The Development of the Oil Industry." Other features of interest planned, including refreshments. Prior to the meeting the council will meet in brief business session in Rooms 9, 10 and 11 at 7:30 o'clock when a new class of members will be formally admitted. Many Indians were employed as extras, while two specially trained Indian actors, Chief Lightheart and Big Tree, the latter a full blooded Seneca, took part in some of the scenes. The picture will be shown at the Community House next Friday even- ing. "The Call of the North" is from the George Broadhurst play of the same name and Stewart Edward White's novel, "Conjurer's House," adapted for the screen by Jack Cun- ningham. There will be two shows; at 7:15 and 8:45.
