That figure represents homes, every one do them a distinct credit to the village." PILE OF LUMBER BRINGS F. SORENSON INTO COURT A pile of lumber, unprotected by the required red lights, brought F. Sorenson, Chicago building contract- or, into the Winnetka police court this week, after Chief of Police Peter- son, while driving his car at night, narrowly avoided crashing into the red lightless lumber pile on the side of the street at 67 Warwick road. Sorenson admitted negligence and was assessed a fine of $5 and costs.
