WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1922 IMPROVEMENT BODY IN ANNUAL MEETING Reports of Committee Chair- man Main Business of Ses- sion at Community House ANNUAL ELECTION UP Every Citizen Is Invited To Attend Meeting Feb. 20 The annual meeting of the Village Imyrovement association of Winnetka will be held at Community house Monday evening, February 20, at 8 c¢'clock. Reports of work accomplished during the year will be presented by the following committee chairmen: Beach, Ayres Boal; Forestry, Harold H. Hayes; Franchises and Operation, George D. Wolf; Grade Separation, William A. Otis; Municipal Art, Mrs. William A. Otis; Parkway and Vacant Lots, Mrs. Allan I. Wolff; Police, Buckingham Chandler; Village Plan, Raymond E. Durham; Waste Disposal, Morris L. Greeley; Publicity, S. Bowles King. Solve Municipal Problems There are numerous problems of active interest to the village the solution of which is being undertaken, or can readily be undertaken, by the association, an organization which, obviously can be of immeasurable service to the village. The association has the entire village for its field, and any resident of Winnetka is elig- ible to membership. A large attend- ance is expected at the annual meet- ing and citizens whether or not mem- bers, are invited to be at the annual meeting. An important feature of the session will be the annual election of officers. The officers of the association are: John Ritchie, president; Buckingham Chandler, first vice president; George D. Wolf, second vice president; Mrs. Charles T. Mordock, secretary; Mrs. H. L. Woolhiser, treasurer. I a. Social Happenings J The Woman's society of the Win- netka Congregational church, will meet Wednesday, February 15, in the Communty House. At ten o'clock there will be sewing for philanthropy, and at 10:30 Mrs. John R. Fletcher will read.
