WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 1922 ARF LPH DEAS IT THE SADA LU To Give Interpretation of Book, "If Winter Comes" The program at the Wilmette Sun- day Evening Club Sunday, April 9, will consist of an interpretation of that very popular book "If Winter Comes," written by A. S. M. Hutchinson. The reading will be given by Prof. Ralph Dennis, School of Speech of North- western university. Professor Dennig gave this same rendition at the Sunday Afternoon club in Evanston recently, at the First Presbyterian church, which was crowded to the doors. A number of people from Wilmette were in atten- dance. This book, which was written less than a year ago, has been in such demand as to call for its being re- printed, and until there have been six editions to date. It is a book with a message from every day life. Arthur Jones, Soloist The soloist Sunday evening will be Arthur Jones, recently of the London Light Opera company. He will sing "Friend" by Novello Davies, and "The Children's Home," by Dr. Frederick Cowen. Mrs. Marie Edwards Von Ritter's program of organ music, including several numbers appropriate to the Palm Sunday spirit, will be as fol- lows: Prelude: The Palms by Wilkes. Toccato in G, by Dubois.
