Lieutenant Beeze, Chief Engineer on the N C-4, and a resident of Winnetka, gave a detailed account of this first trans-Atlantic flight. His description of the journey from Canada to Plymouth, England, with all the interesting and humorous sidelights, made the meeting of the Legion one of the best this year. Lieu- tenant Beeez is a member of the Win- netka Post. Before the close of the meetings in June, the Post will have as their guest, Colonel Siqueland, who has in his possession the films taken by the German Government on board sub- marines during the most active period of the war. Colonel Siqueland had an internationally known experience in getting these films, and he knows more about submarine warfare, prob- ably, than any man in the country. The date of this event will be an- pounced. Start Bowling Stunt. A very novel bowling tournament called Blind Bogey Bowling was start- ed at the Tuesday meeting, and will «continue through until the close of the season in June.
