Dr. Atkinson becomes di- recting manager of the Adelphi thea- ter, 7070 North Clark street, Chicago. Dr. Atkinson, who is an Evanston home owner, enjoys a wide acquaint- ance on the north shore. Besides ap- pearing 'prominently in connection with motion pictures, he has estab- lished an enviable reputation as platform orator and has delivered lec tures in every section of the countr on economic questions, particularly as pertaining to the relation of capital and labor. 4 "Growing up," so to speak, with the motion picture industry in California Dr. Atkinson was responsible in large measure for the abolition of the in- tolerant motion picture censorship in that state several years ago.
