Sea- shore, is making plans for a big year in the local church. He is trying out the plan of holding church and Sunday School Services together. Mr. Seashore was formerly assistant at the church, and returns to take charge after two years in Minneapolis. Postponed Rally for Women Democrats, Meets Sept. 14 The Illinois Democratic Women's rally, postponed from August 2 on account of the street car strike, will be held on September 14 in the Tiger room of the Sherman House. Lunch- eon will be served at 12:30. Mrs. Emily Newell Blair, resident National Committeewoman, Washington, D. C., will be the guest of honor and princi: pal speaker. - Other speakers will be Democratic State Chairman Thomas Donovan, and Mrs. Anna L. Smith, Democratic National Committeewom- an from Illinois.
