WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1922 PHOTO DRAMAS HOYBURN THEATRE Hope Hampton, Lon Chaney and E. K. Lincoln will combine to enter- tain Hoyburn audiences Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, December 11, 12 and 13, with "The Light in the Dark." Added to the feature attrac- tion will be a special comedy, "Frozen North," Buster Keaton's latest great presentation. Kate Douglas Wiggins' novel, "Tim- othy Quest" will be seen in its film interpretation on Thursday and Fri- day, December 14 and 15. The author is best known for her "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm," one of the sweet- est stories ever written. "Timothy Quest" is the story of the two little children who wanted a mother and wandered into Maine where They at- tained their request. The production has received the highest endorsement of critics and is said to be one of the most interesting photoplays of recent release. "The Jilt" will be seen at the Hoy- burn on Saturday, December 16. Ralph Graves, Matt Moore and Mar- guerite De la Motte are the stars. Saturday's bill also includes episode No. 10 of "Days of Buffalo Bill." HOWARD THEATRE Alice Brady will begin the week of Sunday, December 10 at the Howard Theatre with her latest release, "Alice Ascends," said to rank among the foremost of recent cinema produc: tions. Monday and Tuesday, December 11 and 12, brings Irene Castle Tremain to the Howard in "Slim Shoulders." Books For Children Grown-ups The Wednesday and Thursday at- traction is House Peters in "Rich Men's Wives" while Friday and Sat- urday, December 15 and 16 will be the occasions of the showing of "The Kentucky Derby, starring Reginald Denny. ADELPHI THEATRE "Ebb Tide" will be the first attrac- tion at the Adelphi on Sunday, De- cember 10, with James Kirkwood in the leading role. On Monday and Tuesday, December 11 and 12, will be shown "Brawn of the North," featuring Strongheart, the famous canine, Wednesday and Thursday, Decem- ber 13 and 14, mark the showing of "The Old Homestead," with Theodore Roberts in the stellar role. On Friday, December 15, there will be the customary double feature bill inaugurated with great success a few weeks ago, "The Yosemite Trail," and "Romance and Arabella," featuring Constance Talmadge, will be the at- tractions for that day.
