Under the direction of Miss Alta B. Gahan and Mrs. Myron T. Harshaw, director and assistant in the art courses, the pupils made and sold all kinds of . Christmas novelties. Christmas cards, candies, pictures, kitchen-ware, bridge party acces- sories, and numerous personal ar- ticles were made by the class for the sale. Money derived from the sale of the articles will be spent for the im- provement of the art room. Proceeds from the sale of candy at the bazaar are being used to help de- fray the expenses of the Christmas toy project the Winnetka schools are conducting.
