WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, APRIL 28, 1923 BAHAIS GATHER AT CONVENTION Leaders of Movement Will be Heard From all over America the Bahais, who are working for "universal relig- ion and universal peace" and are building the "great Temple of One- ness of Mankind" at Wilmette, will assemble for their fifteenth annual convention, at the Auditorium hotel, Chicago, April 28 to May 1. The convention will open with a banquet on Saturday evening, April 28. There will be public sessions Sun- day afternoon at 3 oclock, Monday and Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, with speakers from various parts of the country. At each session the distinguished scholar and lecturer of Persia, Jenabi Fazel, formerly pro- fessor of the Imperial university of Teheran, will speak upon "The spirit- ual consciousness, the oneness of mankind, the oneness of religion." Sunday noon, April 29, there will be a gathering in the foundation room of the temple at Wilmette. On Tuesday evening, May 1, at 8 o'clock, the Bahai Temple will be the topic. - Albert Vail, Henry J. Burt, structural engineers, of Chicago, and Jenabi Fazel will be the speakers. The address of Mr. Burt will be illus- trated with lantern slides. A special invitation is extended to the people of the north shore to at- tend these meetings and acquire an understanding of the teachings of the Bahai Revelation from its leading ex- ponents, it is announced. Prentiss Players Give Drama of Middle Ages Covered by the dust of six cen- turies "The Second Sheperd's Play" is being reviewed by the Prentice Players, an amateur dramatic club composed of students of Northwest- ern university. It will be staged as a one-act comedy in the old manner -- that is, without scenery, a bare table and the necessary chairs doing service as properties. Dr. Arthur H. Nethercot, instruc- tor in English at Northwestern, is coaching the players. He declared the author of the price is unknown and that it was written for the old trade guilds which flourished in Europe in the Middle Ages. The play itself is in the form of a prelude to a religious drama, and will be put on at the Evanston campus on the evenings of May 18 and 19. "Few the item ly satisfied, sold. Says Automobile Dealer Is a Real Specialist "The automobile dealer is so much more than a merchant," Wersted, proprietor of the Wersted Motor Company, Winnetka, "that the term automobile dealer is coming to mean a specialist in automotive trans- portation as well as a buyer and seller of cars and parts. merchants deliver so much are required to more than merely Most transactions end with the sale to the consumer, but the real responsibility of the automobile dealer only be- gins there.
