"The Girl of the Golden West" comes to the Hoyburn on June 2 "Wonders of the Sea," a Williamson Submarine picture, will be shown at the Hoyburn June 21, 22 and 23. Howard Theater Tom Mix will be seen on the Howard screen this week-end in his latest pro- "duction, "Stepping Fast." He appears on Friday and Saturday programs. Larry Semon will also be seen in "No Wedding Bells." The attraction for Sunday, June 10, will be Lew Cody and a selected cast in "The Secreta of Paris." Lon Chaney is the Howard headliner on Monday and Tuesday, June 11 and 12. The vehicle is, "All the Brothers were Valiant." An added feature will be the comedy "When Knights were Cold," starring Stan Laurel. Wallace Berry and Sylvia Breamer are the co-stars in "Bavu" which shows at the Howard on Wednesday, June 13. "The Girl of the Golden West," with Warren Kerrigan heading an all-star cast, comes to the Howard for Thurs- day, Friday and Saturday, June 14, 15 and 16. J Gloria Swanson brightens the silver sheet at the Adelphi this Friday and Saturday in the greatest picture of her brilliant career, "Prodigal Daughters." D. W. Griffith's great mystery play, "One Exciting Night," will be seen at the Adelphi Sunday, Monday and Tues- on him by members of the Kiwanis Club of Chicago; the Lions and Kiwanis Clubs of Dallas; the Advertising Club and the Salesman Club of Houston and the Rotary Club of San Antonio. SCREEN CLIPPINGS Jack Roland, for eight years with Clara Kimball Young in the capacity of assistant director, has been engag- ed in a similar capacity at the Para- mount west coast studio, where he will aid Alfred E.
