Miss Gerstenberg is well known in Winnetka and her hosts of friends are anticipating great pleasure in seeing her latest play. ILveryone who follows drama knows her one-act plays--"Over- tones," "The Pot Boiler," "Beyond," "Alice in Wonderland," and many other successful comedies. "Nine in Heart" is her second play to be produced, and speculation has it that she has written a three-act comedy that is as distinctly unique as her one-acts. The play deals with the science of numerology by and with which one reads the laws of life. "A modern woman discovers that key to the riddle of life for which we are all supposed to be looking. In act one she finds the law of the universe. In act two she tries to live by it and in act three she lives without it. The comic situations follow fast as soon as she adopts the law as the leading influence in her life. The play is filled with amusing lines and marked and funny characterizations. The play is being produced in the Thalian Playshop at the School of Speech at Northwestern university.
