An escort of thirty- seven Knights of Evanston Command- ery 58, Knights Templar, under com- mand of Eminent Commander Charles Schmidt participated. After a few brief remarks of appreciation by the newly installed Excellent High Priest, Arthur J. Taylor, presented John C. Blaylock, the retiring Excellent High Priest, with a beautiful = timepiece. Charles F. Murray then administered a masonic reprimand to Joseph C. Wilson who has served the Chapter as sentinal since its formation. The reprimand was .in the form of an expression of regret iby the officers and members of the Chap- "ter, that it was necessary for him to dis- scontinue the 'duties which he performed vso capably. O. L. Horsfalls Purchase Lilac Tea Room and Shop Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Horsfall have taken over the Lilac Tea Room and Bake Shop at 576 Lincoln avenue and announce they will make a specialty of Sunday dinners beginning Sunday, January 6. The shop will handle first quality bakery goods, it is announced. Mr. and Mrs. Horsfall have had many years experience in the restau- rant and bakery business. CALLED TO GLENCOE FIRE The Winnetka Fire department was called to the assistance of the Glencoe fire-fighting forces on New Year's when the home of George West Wil- son, 221 Franklin road was totally de- stroyed by flames. The local firemen were summoned only after it was too much for the Glencoe apparatus. Teaming Contractor Fined For Zoning Law Violation L. G. Pantle, proprietor of a team- ing business at 886 Pine street was fined $10 and costs in Magistrate C. T. Northrop's court this week on the charge of violating a provision of the Winnetka Village Zoning ordinance. Pantle, it is said, secured a permit to construct stables to house four horses, but later proceeded to build a barn of ten-horse stall capacity.
