An interesting program of original compositions and poetry was given by members of the branch. Oe The last reenlar meeting for this season, of the Lincoln Avenue Neigh- Porhood circle will be held all day Tuesday, April 15, at the home of Mrs. Thomas H. Ratcliffe, 804 Lincoln avenue. A large attendance is de- sired, as the annual election of of- ficers takes place at this meeting. --Q-- Miss Beatrice Ripley who returned two weeks ago to spend the spring vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Ripley of Indian Hill road, is now quarantined with mumps. She expects to return to Bradford academy the latter part of next week. --Q-- Mr. Max K. Meyer of 829 Elm street, president of the Winnetka Trust and Savings bank, returned on Thursday from a cruise of the Gulf of Mexico, the Carribbean Seas, and the northern coast of South America. Mr. Meyer was away for several months. ------ Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Bailey who have been living in New York have returned to Chicago. They are living temporarily at the Library Plaza hotel until they decide definitely upon their place of residence. --Q-- Mrs. Heyliger A. DeWindt was hostess at seven tables of bridge at her home on Sheridan road on Fri- day evening, April 4, for her father, J. H. Arnold. The affair was given on the occasion of his birthday. --Q-- Miss Marion Fulton who was in Winnetka for ten days visiting her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Boddie have returned from southern California and are at present in Washington, D.
