WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, APRIL 19, 1924 Easter Poem "PUBLIC FORUM Kenilworth Happenings SPRING SUITS Upon this glorious Easter Day, (Get right with God, repent and pray; Worship the Christ whose life he gave, And came to this world our souls to save. Since Christ arose in the days of yore, His Power is felt from shore to shore, While bells their joyous chimes ring out, Hosannas to our King, we'll shout. The birds are warbling a song of love, Chirping their thanks to God above, With grateful hearts a song we'll sing, To Christ who evermore shall reign. While angels echo back this song, Which the birds are singing all day long, Let one and all join in this praise, To Christ who lives through endless days. His life so pure and free from sin, Always trying some poor soul to win, This Christ is yours to take or lose, Who, if you're wise, you'll gladly choose. To those whose lives in sin are given, It's never too late to be forgiven. Comfort and joy which you're hoping to find. Christ who arose can bring to your mind. Music and words composed by DOROTHY L. This impression is entirely erroneous. The house in question was constructed by a public spirited resi- dent of Winnetka who is interested in the welfare of the schools, and is rented by the owner to the Superin- tendent, who pays rent directly to the owner without the intervention of the School Board. It will be clear from this that the construction of this house had no effect whatsoever upon taxes, but that, on the contrary, in an indirect way it has been a benefit to the schools and therefore to the tax- payers in solving the housing prob- lem of the Superintendent. I shall appreciate it if you will pub- lish this communication. Very truly yours, E. S. BALLARD. OAK TERRACE LAUNDRY KIDS CLEANERS AND DYERS OUR. In these days of so many accidents and so many people hurt and killed by automobiles, the only safe thing for an owner of an automobile is to be insured for Liability and Property Damage. Every owner is wise to take this precaution against severe loss, should an accident happen and one can well afford to pay the premium for such in- surance which is not excessive. I write insurance for the OLD AETNA INSURANCE COMPANY with Two Hundred Million to pay losses. I should be glad to have you come in and talk insurance. CLARK T.
