Approximately fifty artists exhibited paintings, photo- graphy, and many branches of the ap- plied arts. The committee in charge has expressed the wish to thank all of these artists at this time for their important part and cooperation in making this exhibit such a success. Mrs. Jacobs came to the United States as-a delegate to the International Congress and the Inter- national Summer school which con- venes in Chicago this evening for a two-week session. - ---- The regular meeting of The Little Garden club was held at the home of Mrs. Charles N. Hurlbut on Friday, May 9. An interesting paper was read on "Garden Boundaries and Green in the Garden" by Mrs. Sonneborn. The meeting was well attended. Ewer, June 6 a The pupils of the Winnetka branch of the Columbia School of Music will give a recital next Friday evening, May 23, at the Woman's club.
