Holds Annual Meeting May 19 The annual meeting of the Winnetka Parent- Teacher association will be held in the Horace Mann school Monday afternoon, May 19, at 3 o'clock. A social hour will follow the regular busi- ness session. It is to be noted that the hour of start- ing the meeting has been changed from 4 to 3 o'clock. A large attendance 6 is expected for Need Executives for Veterans' Hospitals Following an entirely new policy, the United States Veterans' bureau will appoint, as soon as they are avail- able, business executives for approx- imately 50 veterans' hospitals, it is stated' in an announcement by the United States civil service commis- sion sent out from the local postoffice this week. The commission will plications for positions of business executive until 'May 20. The salaries range from $3,000 to $5,000 a year, it is announced.
