id Rd WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1924 22 Young People of Winnetka In Riding Club Meet Today LI, Winnetka is interested in the Riding club's meet for junior members at the club stables, today, at 2:45 o'clock. A complete program is given below: The judges are Holgar Rasmusson, Archibald W. Shaw, and George Knox Owsley. All riding classes for children and juniors are to be judged for seat and hands, 60 points, management: of horse or pony, 40 points. The first event includes names of children from four to seven years of age: Portia Miller, Gilbert McIntosh, William Daughaday, Donald McPher- son, Joan Miller, and Nora Foreman. The second event is for girls, and represented in this list are: Jean O'Brien, Eleanor Coffin, Fannie Mc- Pherson, Marion Daughaday, Mary Senior, Deborah Butler, Harriet Louise Dallas, Mary Armstrong, Elizabeth Eckhart, Mary Prindeville, and Jane McIntosh. The small boy class will be third event; with John Senior, Colton Daughaday, John Lindsay and David Lindsay the entrants. The fourth event features the chil- dren's pony carts exhibited by Mrs. Hathaway Watson, Mrs. C. Colton Daughaday, Mrs. Charles W. Foreman, and Mrs. Oliver Knode. The fifth is the hunter class, to be ridden by professional riding instruc- tors: Holgar Rasmusson of the Rid- ing club of Chicago; F J. Moffitt of Moffitt stables, Winnetka; Carl Mayor, of the Riding club of Winnet- ka. The horses are Meenahga, brown mare-7 years; Mary Duncan, same, 6 years, and Chief, a bay gelding. The sixth feature will include the miniature hunter class. Junior class girls, Evelyn Bouscaren, Adelaide Atkin, Emma Woolfolk and Judith Miller will take part in the seventh. The eighth event will include the following junior class boys: Peter Cabel, Crilly Butler and Hughes Dallas. The ninth event has, Pherson and his daughter, Fannie; John S. Miller, Jr., and his daughter, Judith; Godfrey H. Atkin and daugh- ter, Adelaide; C. Colton Daughaday and his son, Colton; Mrs. Francis Peabody Butler and her daughter, Deborah, and Mrs. William C. On her return she will appear in concerts and on radio pro- grams. --_---- The wedding of Miss Josephine Bokious of Glencoe to Stanley Scully of Winnetka took place Wednesday afternoon at 4:30, at the Sacred Heart church, Hubbard Woods. Her maid of honor was Miss Inez Nelson of Chicago, and the flower girl, little Miss Charlotte Bokious. The best man was Walter Klauke of Hubbard Woods. A reception followed the ceremony at the Bokious home at 538 Glencoe road. After a short wedding trip, the young people will make their home in Glencoe. --C-- The Foxdale Avenue circle met for the first time this season on Tuesday at the home of Mrs. O. H. Miller of 861 Foxdale avenue. There were twenty present and a very interesting program was given. Mrs. E. E. Brown gave a talk on politics relative to the coming election. Mrs. Sidney Bart- lett gave a group of songs of her own composition, and Mrs. Orval Simpson also sang. The assisting hostess was Mrs. F. A. Miller.
