When she spoke before the Women's club the weather was so inclement that comparatively few dared to brave it. Since so many regretted their failure to hear Miss Stone, the Woman's Society of the Congregational church asked her to speak on January 21, as previously advertised. She will speak at 10 o'clock, February 18, at the World Friendship meeting in the Neighborhood room at Community House. Miss Stone is now with the personnel department of the West- ern Electric company, but has recently traveled extensively in the Near East, and from these travels she takes her theme, "Impress- 'ons of Religious Tendencies in the Near East." This meeting is for all who will be glad to hear Miss Stone. Prior to the address the following brief program will be given: Devotional, Mrs. Carrie B. Prouty. World Crier, Mrs. Edwin E. Brown.
