Fach succeeding season of the Or- chestra association has been more suc- cessful than the preceding, both in point of the size of the orchestra and the scope of the repertoire. The man- agement of the association has planned still greater things for the season of 1925-1926, especially in respect to the matinees. At a recent meeting of the board of directors, it was unanimously decided to increase the number of play- ers in the orchestra for the matinees from the present 25, to 40 or 45. This will place the matinees on practically the same musical standard as the eve- ning concerts and will make the after. noon meetings particularly attractive to women who have not been able to attend the evening concerts. Members Renew Subscriptions As previously announced, the success of the evening season next year has been assured by the large number of subscriptions already received. There are a few old subscribers in each vil- lage of the township who have neg- lected to express their wishes, but these will be given an opportunity to sign up next Wednesday evening. After that date, vacancies will be allotted to the large waiting list. The hour of the matinee on Wed- nesday has been set for 4:30 instead of 4 o'clock--the hour of previous con- certs. The evening hour is as here- tofore--at 8:15 o'clock. The program for the evening con- cert follows: Wednesday's Program Overture, "Leonore" No. 3, C Major (Opus 72)...
