and that the said concrete pave- ment shall be widened along curved lines to meet the existing pavement in Winnetka Avenue at the easterly and westerly lines of that portion of Win- netka Avenue herein provided to be improved as more particularly herein- after described; and that said proposed concrete pavement, at its intersection with Church Road, shall be construct- ed to meet the existing pavement in said Church Road at said line three hundred ninety (390) feet northwest- erly from and parallel with the center line of Elder Lane extended, as meas- ured along the center line of said Church Road; and that the said pro- posed concrete pavement, at its inter- section with Willow Street, shall on the southwesterly side thereof be wid- ened along curved lines to meet the pavement herein proposed to be con- structed in Willow Street, at a line sixty-six (66) feet southwesterly from, as measured at right angles to, the southwesterly line and said line ex- tended of the right-of-way of the Chi- cago and North Western Railway Company, as more particularly here- inafter described; and that said pro- posed concrete pavement in Ash Street and in Cherry Street shall be widened along curved lines to the east to meet the existing pavements in said streets at the southwesterly line extended of the right-of-way of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company, as more particularly hereinafter describ- ed; and shall be widened along curved lines to the west to meet the existing pavements in said streets at a line parallel with and seventy-five (75) feet southwesterly from, as measured at right angles to, the southwesterly line and said line extended, of said right-of-way, as more particularly hereinafter described; and that said proposed concrete pavement shall con- nect with the existing bituminous macadam pavement in Ridge Avenue by adjusting and connecting the ex- isting bituminous macadam pavement in Ridge Avenue from the north end of the proposed concrete pavement at the east line of Ridge Avenue with the center line of Ridge Avenue, said center line of Ridge Avenue being the line of connection of the improvement herein provided for in said Ridge Avenue with the existing pavement in the pub- lic street lying west of and adjoining the southwesterly line of the right-of- way of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company, connecting Oak Street with Ridge Avenue, and by paving with reinforced concrete a roadway in Willow Street thirty-one (31) feet and four (4) inches in width from back to back of integral curb, from the east line extended of Forest Street east to the southwesterly line of the reinforced concrete pavement herein provided to be constructed in and across Willow Street, and by pav- ing with brick upon a concrete found- ation, a roadway in Oak Street fifty- one (51) feet and four (4) inches in width from back to back of integral curb, from the existing pavement at the east line extended of Lot Thirteen (13) in the Subdivision of Block Thir- ty-six (36), Winnetka, where the said proposed brick pavement, fifty-one (51) feet and four (4) inches in width shall connect with the existing pave- ment in said public street connecting Oak Street with Ridge Avenue, to a line thirty (30) feet east of and par- allel with the east line extended of Linden Street, and by curing and pro- tecting the proposed pavement and curbing, and by removing foundations under buildings located upon the tracts of land to be acquired for such Twenty- | improvement. ) The center line of the above propos- ed concrete pavement, except at curb corners as hereinafter described, shall be as follows: Beginning at a point in the north edge of the curb of the existing concrete pavement in Win- netka Avenue, said point of beginning being two hundred four (204) feet southwesterly from and as measured at right angles to the center line of the west main track of the Chicago and North Western Railway Company (said center line being fifty-five (55) feet southwesterly from and as meas- ured at right angles to and parallel with the easterly line and said easter- ly line extended of the right-of-way of the said Chicago and North West- ern Railway Company), thence north- westerly along a strajght line and parallel with said center line of said west main track five hundred seven and six tenths (507.6) feet to a point of curve, thence northwesterly along a curved line convex westerly having a degree of curvature of two degrees forty-four minutes (2° 44') for a dist- ance of five hundred twenty-seven and four tenths (527.4) feet to a point of reverse curve, thence northwesterly along a curved line convex easterly having a degree of curvature of two degrees fonty-four minutes (2° 44') for a distance of five hundred twenty- seven and four tenths (527.4) feet to a point seventy-two (72) feet south- westerly from, as measured at right angles to the said center line of said west main track; The center line of concrete pavement in Church Road where said proposed pavement joins the existing pavement in Church Road shall conform to the center line of said Church Road southerly of said propos- ed concrete pavement. The center line of said proposed brick pavement in Oak Street shall be thirty-eight (38) feet north of and parallel with the south line of said Oak Street. The finished grade of the top surface of said proposed concrete pavement and said proposed brick pavement shall be measured in feet and decimal parts of a foot above the established datum of the Village of Winnetka. Said grades are given at points along the said center line hereinbefore de- scribed and said points are measured in feet from said point of beginning of said center line. The back of said curb shall be flush with the edge of the pavement and the body portion of said curb shall be composed by volume of one (1) part Portland cement, two (2) parts sand and three and one-half (3%) parts gravel or crushed stone; the ex- posed surfaces of said curb to a depth of one-half (1%) inch shall be composed by volume of one (1) part Portland cement and two (2) parts sand.
