WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 1925 Announce Names of Those Assisting at Ripley Debut URING the reception hours from 4:30 o'clock until 6, on Saturday afternoon, June 27, when Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Ripley will intro- duce to society their daughter, Miss Beatrice, the following group of Miss Ripley's friends will assist: Miss Ju- dith Boddie, Miss Elizabeth Boyden, Miss Isabel Scott, Miss Mary Fentress, Miss Elizabeth Clore, Miss Eleanor McEwen, Miss MarthaT Thomas, and Miss Joan Stuart, all of Winnetka and Hubbard Woods, and Miss Jane Story of Riverside, and Miss Rosemary Ames of Chicago. The tea will be given at the Ripley home at 29 Indian Hill road. Sosy Miss Anna F. Murray, 1312 Church street, Evanston, will entertain the north shore alumnae of the National Kindergarten and Elementary college on Monday, June 22, at 3 o'clock. This alumnae association has given very active assistance in raising funds for the college building now being erected on the new campus at 2778 Sheridan road, Evanston. The student pageant, "Persephone", which was given at the Evanston Country club June 3 and 4, was spon- sored by this group. Plans for sum- mer and autumn activity will be made at this meeting. --_--Q-- Mrs. Albert G. Berry of Winnetka, gave a linen shower on Wednesday of last week at her home in honor of Miss Helen Muriel Rushton of Evans- ton, who will become the bride of H. Marshall Pierce, Jr., Friday evening, June 26. Saturday evening, June 20, Mrs. Harry I Miller of Glencoe is giving a dinner-dance at Skokie club. ---- Mrs. Frederick K. Copeland of 665 Prospect avenue, left Thursday eve- ning with ther daughter, Mrs. Nat Blatchford, and her children, to ac- company them to their cottage at Camp Ipigaki, Lac du Flambeau, Wis., where they will enjoy a summer's outing. Greeley home on Chestnut avenue, for the sum- mer. Mrs. Greeley and her family have gone to their summer cottage at Lac du Flambeau, Wis;, to join the Win- netka colony having cottages there in the camp. Ean ad Miss Isabel Klein, talented young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Klein of Hawthorne lane, took the leading part in "Kempy", the senior play given last Monday at Lake Forest college. C. Kohlsaat and family, 777 Bryant avenue, leave for Furope next Thursday. They will join their two daughters. Suzanne and Cynthia, who are completing their year at school in Lausanne, Switzerland. --p-- Bonnar Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Brown, 1045 Dinsmore road, was among those who graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, June 15.
