| WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 1925 7 Catholic Groups Hold Annual Outing Sunday Sunday, June 28, will be a red letter day in the families affiliated with Ouil- mette council, Knights of Columbus and Ouilmette court, Catholic Daugh- ters of America, for it is than that those groups will hold their annual joint out- ing in the Glenview Forest Preserve. Busses are scheduled to leave Odd Fellows lodge hall at 11 and 1 o'clock, from St. Joseph's church at 11:15 and 1:15, and from Wilmette and Ridge avenues at 11:30 and 1:30 o'clock, and will proceed directly to the picnic grove. The automobile route to the grounds is south on Ridge avenue to Church street, west on Church street to Golf road, north on Golf road to the first driveway east from whence motorists are asked to "follow the arrow." The day's activities will begin offici- ally at 2:30 o'clock with races for all ages and both sexes. Baseball will have the stage at 3:30, and there will be the annual horse-shoe tournament at the same hour. Tugs-of-war are arranged for both men and women. Frank J. Kreusch and Mary Beinlich are joint chairmen of the outing. Operate Motor Coaches to Lakes from "L" Line Motor coach lines are already in operation from the Dempster street ter- minal of the Niles Center extension. They are being operated by the North Shore Electric, the line running to Wauconda and Lake Zurich by way of Des Plaines. Hourly service is main- tained between Des Plaines and the terminal and six trips daily are made to Wauconda. BETTY HAS NEW BARRIE ROLE Betty Bronson, chosen by J. M. Barrie to play the title role of "Peter Pan," has again been signally honored by the famous Scottish author. He has selected her for the leading role in "A Kiss For Cinderella," another of his plays. The news came in a cablegram to Jesse L. Lasky, from Director Brenon, consult with Barrie on the screen who sailed for Europe recently to treat- ment and cast of the play. Barrie, ac- cording to Mr. Brenon, had not the slightest hesitancy in entrusting the leading role to Miss Bronson, saying that he believed her better fitted to portray it than any other actress in pictures.
