WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 1925 KEATON FILM HERE FRIDAY Famous Comedian to Be Seen in "Seven Chances" "Seven Chances," Buster Keaton's newest picture scheduled for Friday, August 7, at Community House, is a version of the Belasco stage success of several years ago, and tells the story of a young man about Wall Street whose code in life is of such a gen- erous nature that he gives away the funds of his partner and himself for the sake of sweet charity, and every- thing seems about to crash. Just then his uncle leaves him a legacy of $7,000,000, with the only proviso that he be married by seven o'clock that same evening. He rushes to the home of his best girl, and asks her to marry him so that he can get the fortune. She refuses him on such ground, so he is left to find some one who will marry him. Then the fun begins in earnest, Bus- ter tries one after another of the beau- tiful girls he meets, but to no avail-- and let us state right here, that they are quite a collection. Then he ad- vertises in the newspaper for a wife, and is deluged with tons of femininity. What seems to be a crowd of several thousand starts after him, and poor Buster is kept dodging the marriage- mad females. Here the picture becomes a run- away, and the audience is left gasping for breath and holding its sore jaws: Needless to say, the "one" girl finally marries Butser in time for him to get the $7,000,000.
