October 10, 1925 WINNETKA TALK Select Cast for First New Trier Dramatic Event Tryouts for the first play of the year to be presented by the Dramatic club of New Trier high school were held on Wednesday and Thursday of last week. The date of this first production has been announced as November 14 but the name of the play "is being kept a secret. The cast has been selected and includes the follow- ing: Don McGill, Bob English, John Iliff, Gordon Rogers, Don Sherman, Bob Kenyon, David Rumsey, Gail Fouthwell, Warren Siebold, Virginia Haight, Laura Lubke, Helen Gate, Adelia Barroll, Emilie Durham, Mar- tha Katz, Jane Ashman, Theodore Perry, Steve Harwood, Dan Snydack- er, Ed Baumann, Albert Bell, Jack Booth, William Hughes, Whitfield Cook, Jack Leach, Frank Gilchrist, Emmons. DeBerard, Rollin Simonds, Drake Older, Conner Webster, Karl Yost, and Fred Waidner. Rehearsals will be held in two sec- tions, one of which will rehearse three times a week and the other two times. The production is under the direction of Miss Elizabeth Stanwood, super- visor of dramatics at the school. Local Women to Attend School of Citizenship Members of the Wilmette League of Women Voters are taking a keen in- terest in the Citizenship school being conducted at Ida Noyes hall at the University of Chicago this fall. Among those who have enrolled in the school are Mrs. Ira Reynolds, Mrs. Robert Taylor, Mrs. Lloyd C. Ayres, Mrs. I. R. Adkins, Mrs. N. P. Colwell and Mrs. C. P. Evans. President Max Mason of the university will address a dinner meeting of the Citizenship school next Thursday evening, October 15, which will be attended by a number of Wil- mette women. Former Governor Lowden is also scheduled for an ad- dress.
