42 WINNETKA TALK October 10, 1925 THEATRE GUILD SEEKS GREATER MEMBERSHIP Launches Intensive Drive Looking Toward Addition of 300 New Members With the return of Alexander Dean, general director, the North Shore Theatre Guild has commenced the membership drive for its fifth season of presenting the best in amateur thea- tricals to its patrons along the north shore. Due to the 100 per cent approval won by last year's productions, the officers of the Guild are expecting a closed membership in many of the commu- nities this season. This will mean that none others than those holding season memberships will be able to see the plays due to a capacity list in each suburb. Approximately 300 new members can be admitted to the Guild this fall to reach a total of 3,500 attendance for each play. As the auditoriums only permit audiences totalling 3,700 persons this will mean practically a capacity attendance for the season.
