The artist is Herbert E. Hyde, dean of the Illinois Chapter American Guild of Organists, and superintendent of the Civic Music Association of Chi- cago. He will play the little known but melodiously beautiful and dis- tinctive Hendel "Sixth Organ certo"; a "Gavotte" by tini, contemporary of Handel leader of the Italian school; and two numbers by Bach--the "Bc urree " (3rd Violoncello Suite) and the "Toccatta and Fugue D Minor" which is one of the master's best known writings. A group of short descriptive numbers by modern writers is followed by the Dubois transcription of the Wagner: "Introduction to the 3rd Act and Pil- grim's Chorus" (Tannhauser). The program ends with two numbers by the famous Frenchman, Charles Marie Widor of St. Sulpice, Paris--his "An- dante Cantabile" (4th Symphony) and "Toccatta" (5th Symphony). Plan More Effective Milk Law for Village Winnetka is to have a new milk ordinance patterned after the model milk ordinance drawn up by the Illi- nois health department. The health and safety committeee of the Vil- lage council recommended the adop- tion of such an ordinance at the last council meeting and the village at- torney was instructed to prepare an ordinance. The present ordinance is antiquated and almost useless, village officials said.
