8 WINNETKA TALK Dudley Smiths Give Delightful Musicale at Winnetka Home Mr. and Mrs. Dudley L. Smith gave a very charming musical Sunday af- ternoon, November 1, at their home, 819 Humboldt avenue. The first num- ber on the program was "Carnaval" by Schumann, played by Dudley L. Smith. Mr. Smith is not only a pianist, but is also a well known organist, having played for many years at the Pilgrim church in Oak Park. The next number was a group of songs sung by Edith Richelsen Brown, contralto, who is now singing at the Pilgrim church. Her voice is very rich and beautiful in tone. A group of violin selections including "Ro- mance," by Cyril Scott, and "Noc- turne," by Faure, was then played by Louis Blackman.
