Fred McGuire, of McGuire and Orr, real estate dealers, from Miss Annie and Miss Mary Mahoney. The tract is a part of the large farm from which a large tract purchased by McGuire and Orr about three years ago and which has since been con- verted into a beautiful residential dis- trict. The six acres are to be developed along the lines of the twenty-five acre Kenilworth Beach subdivision. All improvements, including concrete pave- ments, sewer, water, sidewalks, land: scaping, etc., are to be put in and paid for before the property is offered for sale. Following the policy of McGuire & Orr at both Skokie Heights and Kenil- worth Beach, sales will only be made upon written application, preference being given to those contemplating the erection of a home. The resale also will be controlled, in order to carry out the protective policy of the firm in its developments. Twenty-five residences have been completed or are in course of construc- tion on the 63 home sites, costing all the way from $25,000 to $50,000. was Noted Violinist to Appear on Winnetka Club Music Program The artist for the guest meeting of the Winnetka Woman's club occuring Tuesday afternoon, December 1, at 2:45 o'clock. will be Miss Catherine Wade Smith, violinist. It is stated that Miss Smith was the first soloist ever to appear with the Civic orchestra, Frederick Stock, conducting. She also has appeared several times with the Chicago Symphony orchestra, and is playing at New Trier with the Sym- phony Players of Chicago November 24. Miss Smith has won two rare violins, and has received practically all her instruction through the scholar- ships for which she has competed. She also recently was proclaimed winner in a contest, a debut recital, in Aeolian hall, New York City, when Mr. Bauer, Mr. Lambert, and Mrs. Zimbalist were judges. Members of the Mu Epsilon, an hon- orary musical sorority, will give "The Sea Fairies," written by Elizabeth Cook, one of their members, and will sing a group of songs. Mrs. Asa Cooley, also a member of the sorority, will be in charge of the program.
