Vernon Association Gives Morning Programs Three Wednesday morning programs are being given by the Mount Vernon Seminary association at the Fortnight- ly, Chicago, for the benefit of the Northwestern University settlement and the Cradle. On November 25, Horace Bridges will lecture on "The Locarno Peace Treaty and World Peace": December 2, Mrs. Gilbert Max Smith, soprano, and the Felber trio will give the pro- gram; December 9, Miss Marian Gheen, interior decorator, speaks on "Foreign Influences in the American Home." Stage Stars Participate in Annual Cradle Affair The annual dinner-dance to be given by the Cradle society Tuesday evening, November 24, at the Opera club, will have as a special feature, an auction sale of Christmas dolls conducted by Louis Wallheim of the "What Price Glory" company; and Miss Mary Nash and Miss Florence Nash, playing in "A Lady's Virtue," will also take part in the program. Among the patronesses for the af- fair are Mrs. Joseph Husband, Mrs. Thomas Hair, Mrs. Frederick Scott, Mrs. John Stuart, and Mrs. Morris Wilson, all of Winnetka.
