On Wednesday, December 2, after the usual morning sewing, social fel- lowship, and luncheon, the committee offers a talk at 1 o'clock by Mrs. Catharine Waugh McCulloch, noted Chicago lawyer and social worker. This program is put on in co-operation with the League of Women Voters and will give a large group of women an opportunity to hear Mrs. McCulloch speak on her interesting subject, "Women's Education." Wednesday, December 16, beginning at 10 o'clock, there will be another un- usual speaker. Rev. Joseph Clarke will speak from his own experiences on "What Fifty Years of Christian Mis- sions Have Wrought on the Congo." Mr. Clarke, who is the father of Mrs. Robert Coit Meleney of Oak street, Winnetka, has had most thrilling ex- periences with pagan tribes of the in- terior of Africa.
