Sins ath WINNETKA TALK December 12, 1925 Celebrated Artists Give Big Program of Wilmette Club Year Dudley Crafts Watson and Henry Purmont Eames, both artists of great distinction, will render the program at the Woman's club of Wilmette on the afternoon ef Wednesday, December 16. Dudley Crafts Watson will lecture on Moorish culture in Spain, and the pictures he will use in illustration of this talk are very beautiful. As they are shown on the screen, Henry Pur- mont Eames, the noted pianist and composer, will intrepret on the piano the atmosphere of the pictures. This program will be one of the out- standing events of the club season, and is unique in that it offers the ap- peal of two fine artists working to- gether on one general theme. Mrs. Maurice Lieber of Ridge ave- nue was the speaker on the industrial program given by the Chrysclite club Tuesday, December 8. Wellesley Club Announces Annual Christmas Meeting The meeting eagerly anticipated each holiday tide by members of the North Shore Wellesley circle takes place Monday afternoon, December 14, at the home of Mrs. Irwin Rew, 217 Dempster street, Evanston. In an atmosphere permeated with cheer from a blazing log fire and the spirit of gracious hospitality, a program of carols and Christmas music will be given, which will be followed by an informal reception. CLUB PLANS BENEFIT The Columbus Foundation club will give a card party in the ballroom of the Edgewater Beach hotel, Saturday, February 13, at 2 P. M. The proceeds wil! go toward the building fund for the Cath- olic church of the University of Illinois. It is the hope of Rev. John A. O'Brien, Ph. D. chaplain, that ground for the new church will be broken in February. Mrs. John J.
