q WINNETKA TALK December 12, 1925 Dr. Rachel Yarros to Address Voters' League December 14 "Youth of Today and how its Prob- lems are being met," will be the sub- ject of a talk by Dr. Rachel Yarros of Chicago at the meeting of the Win- netka League of Women Voters Mon- day, December 14. Dr. Yarros is director of the Social Hygiene council, She served during the war in the U. S. Public Health Service, Social Hy- giene division, as special lecturer and consultant, and after the war as special lecturer for the Illinois Department of Public Health. She is, and has been for the last 26 years, associate profes- sor of obstetrics in the school of medi- cine of the University of Illinois. The meeting will begin as usual with a luncheon at 12:30 at Community House. During luncheon Mrs. Maurice H. Lieber of Winnetka will speak on "Do you know what is going on in the Morals Court"? Dr. Yarros' talk will come at 1:15. Mrs. Walter Benson, president of the Winnetka League of Women Voters will preside. Mrs. Harold Delay, chair- man of memberships, will announce the winner of the main floor opera tickets, which are to be awarded to the block captain who secured the most member- ships during the recent drive. Mrs. Gross T. Williams, chairman of the Social Hygiene committee, is in charge of the meeting. Mrs. Benson and Mrs. Edwin E. Brown, treasurer of the league, which to take this opportunity to publicly thank the hundreds of women who re- newed their memberships during this drive, although the payment of the year's dues was not scheduled until January 1. It has saved the league both the work and expense of collect- ing to have these memberships come in with the new ones. The treasurer will be at the door at the December meeting so that other members who are good enough to save the league the expense of sending out cards, may re- new their memberships at that time.
