Among these is ARKANSAS ANTHRACITE While Arkansas Anthracite has been marketed in its home terri- tory for twenty-five years, it is en- tirely new in the middle west. It has never been shipped here for two reasons: First, small produc- tion; second, disadvantageous freight rates. Both of these handicaps have now been removed and there is a fair supply of this coal, consider- ing the unusual demand for it. ARKANSAS ANTHRACITE is a short-grain anthracite and in this respect differs from the Pennsylvania, which is a long-grain anthracite. It is absolutely slateless and boneless, free from soot and smoke and has less than half the ash as compared with Pennsylvania anthracite. ARKANSAS ANTHRACITE can be used in any kind of heating plant in which Pennsylvania anthracite or any other soft coal can be used. Let us deliver you a trial order.
