December 19, 1925 40 -----._ Give Children's Program on Tuesday, December 29 The Music department of the Win- netka Woman's club announces a pro- gram for the children December 29, at 3 o'clock. Through the cooperation and as- sistance of Mrs. Homer Cotton, who has charge of the music at New Trier High school, Miss Murray, who has the dramatics at the Skokie school, and Miss Babcock, who is in charge of the music at the North Shore Coun- try Day school, Winnetka children will i -- give the entire program. Mrs. Ernst von Ammon and Mrs. Warner Robin- son are in charge of the afternoon. GIRLS TO GIVE DANCE The following group of girls, all sen- iors at New Trier, have issued invita- tions to a dance Christmas Eve at the Kenilworth club: the Misses Eleanor Buck, Helen Fraser, Grace Glennon, Ruth Mearns, Elizabeth Sweet of Ken- ilworth, Vera May Ogan, Winnetka, Cora Lee Whitsett, Etta Margaret Kennedy, and Pauline Billow, of Wil- mette. Broadcast Kiddies Xmas Program Tuesday Evening On next Tuesday afternoon, Decem- ber 22, WMAQ, the Daily News sta- tion, will broadcast a program for chil- dren arranged by Mrs. Floy Little Bartlett. Mrs. Arthur Byfield, so- prano, and Mrs. Dwight Orcutt, pianist, will assist. The program will consist of num- bers particularly appropriate for Christmas week, including an old Christmas legend and some of the choice Christmas songs. Mrs. Bart- lett's songs will be sung, including the new "Etiquette" group and " 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" which was written for the occasion. The hour of broadcasting is from 5:15 until 6. JUNIOR SCHOOL TO MEET The North End branch of the Chi- cago Junior school, Arthur M. Mil- lard president, will hold its next meet- ing Monday evening, December 21, in the Prince of Wales room at the Sovereign hotel at 8 o'clock.
