Members of the council have been busy for weeks preparing for the event, which is expected to become an annual af- fair. There will be a variety of enter- tainment during the evening. Among other features announced are bridge, dancing and Christmas novelties in the way of games. The affair is not operated for profit but if any is de- rived it will go to a charity fund which Lelps poor families at Christmas time.
